Personal Writings- Depression Reality

How do you get mad at someone that hurts so badly? Its like digging your nails into an open wound. It already hurts from the initial cut, and now you go back and rip it open. They didnt ask for this to happen, they didnt ask to feel this way. You act like its their fault and take it out on them and in the end you make them hate not only you, but themselves as well. They dont have attitude, they arent mad at you and choosing to show no emotion. They physically cant. To try and put on a smile doesnt feel right, it hurts. They arent mad at you, or anyone else, they are just lost in themselves. That blank stare that you think means theyre ignoring you, is just their lack of emotion. They literally feel nothing. They want to feel happy, they want to feel something besides sorrow, but they just cant.

Quotes-

'Theres no need to forget the past, but it should stay where it belongs.'

Song Quotes-

Personal Writings- Reflection

Walk to your mirror and look at yourself, what do you see? Lets start on the outside. Look into your eyes. Are they bright, filled with life, color, and warmth. Or are they black, filled with lost hope and longing. Now look down to your neck. Is there a necklace around it, given to you by a loved one. Maybe a locket with the faces of those you hold dearest. What about your hands and wrists? Are they torn up and scared, bruised and bashed? Dont put them down, think back to what happened, whats the story, whats the reason, and then embrace it. But now go deeper, how do you feel? Whats wrong? Are you content with yourself, or is there a need for something more. Dont keep it bottled up, share it with the world and tell them how you feel. Are there scares on the inside that only you know exist? Dont conceal them. You arent the only one with these scares, you arent alone. You are beautiful, there is someone who cares, and it will get better. Dont walk away from the mirror, look at your gorgeous self, and promise that youll make an effort to get better. Because at the end of the day, the best medicine is believing in yourself.

Personal Writings- Lost Love

Losing a friend is the worst thing in the world, its worse than going through a break up. Youre losing a family member, a friend, and a love. They are who you tell everything to, theyve seen you at your worst and still stick around. But unfortunately they are like everything else, they dont last. I guess people can only take so much of one another because people get torn apart all the time. Theyll stay at your worst, but leave at your best.

Personal Writings- Sense Snow

Its funny how people love looking at the snow, but hate being in it. When you are in it you experience so many more senses. You can see the light flakes falling and landing gently on the ground and trees, or see them dancing in the streets. You can smell the crisp cold air, while you feel the snow land on your skin and feel the breeze run chills through your body. You can hear the wind rush by your ears and nothing else, you listen and all is still. No cars, no phones, or noisy people, just peace. No matter how old you are you'll still get the urge to taste the snow, and when you do those childhood memories come rushing back. You can just lay in the snow and look up at the sky, and in that moment, everything is still, time freezes, and there are no worries.

Book Review- Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close

Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer. Words cannot describe how much I adore this book. I did see the movie before read the novel, and I fell in love with the movie. It was so moving and inspirational.
I will say that the book is a bit of a tough read  The boy, who narrates the book, is very intelligent and speaks quickly with a very wide vocabulary. Often he switches from talking about one thing to talking about another and it can be confusing at times. Although one thing I must say that I loved about the book was it was very visual. Every once in a while there would be a picture going along with what he was talking about much like in the book Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs.
Overall if you enjoy reading and read often I'd say this book is a great read that you would enjoy.
If you liked these books you might like EX&LC: Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, The Descendants, and Balcony View.

I could how you what I write and how I feel. But it would be the same as if I told you, you still wouldn't care.
